Ageism and inequality
We are tackling the huge inequality in people's experience of older age and helping to change the way we all think and talk about ageing.
Alongside our campaign to tackle ageism, we are focused on reducing the huge inequality in the way people experience older age. This includes:
- Shifting how older people and ageing are depicted in the media and advertising and providing guidance and toolkits for organisations to change how they talk about age.
- Building a strong movement to confront and address the discrimination and structural inequality that leaves older people from marginalised communities with worse prospects as they get older.
- Amplifying the voice and views of older people across all aspects of our work.
