Qurab, a 54-year-old native of Oldham, Greater Manchester, feels very passionate about the care industry.
Eight years ago, her daughter suffered a severe asthma attack and cardiovascular attack, which left her with a severe brain injury.
At the time, both Qurab and her husband were working full time, and Qurab had to leave her job as a finance manager to care for her daughter.
Her employer later enabled her to come back to work part-time on reduced hours. With the benefit of flexible working, she had the opportunity to return to work whilst managing her caring responsibilities.
