Centre for Ageing Better appoints Director of Communications

An announcement that Louise Ansari will join as Director of Communications, from Diabetes UK, having previously been their Director of Communications.

Louise will join from Diabetes UK where she is currently working as Director of Prevention of Type 2 diabetes. She has previously worked as the charity’s Director of Communications. She is also a Trustee for the Medical Research Foundation.

Louise brings over 20 years of experience in strategic communications and previous roles have included senior positions within the British Embassy in Madrid and the Council of Europe. She was also previously Head of Communications at Lambeth Borough Council. Other roles have included working with the Food Standards Agency and Which?

More news around Louise’s appointment will be shared when she joins us in late May.

The Centre for Ageing Better is pioneering ways to make ageing better a reality for everyone, including challenging ageism and building an Age-friendly Movement, creating Age-friendly Employment and Age-friendly Homes.
