Developing a Good Home Hub: Healthy Home tool and practical tools for local areas

Commissioned by the Centre for Ageing Better and designed by Campbell Tickell, the tools support a whole-systems approach - linking lived experience, prevention and partnership working to strengthen local home improvement support and improve outcomes for residents.

Whether creating a new Good Home Hub or improving existing home improvement services, the resources can be used individually or together to help turn ambitions into reality.

Healthy Home Tool

This is a demonstration version of the Healthy Home Tool, designed to help residents and resident-facing staff identify potential home improvement or adaptation needs through a simple questionnaire.

Practical tools for local areas

These tools include a range of practical resources to support inclusive, evidence-based housing improvement. They include ways to learn from residents’ experiences, plan services, gather evidence about housing conditions and estimate the economic impact of interventions.
