In our response to the Green Paper, we welcome the focus on promoting work as a health outcome and the recognition that people with health conditions face particular barriers in relation to employment.

This paper sets out the research methodology used to identify evidence which was reviewed and summarised on what older workers value about work.

This evidence briefing identifies the characteristics of work that are important to people aged 50 and over, and explores actions employers can take to attract and retain them.

Key ideas and insights of practitioners who attended our workshop on employment are detailed, including possible interventions for individual personas.

In response to the Interim Report, we welcome the analysis set out and are pleased it reflects many of the issues we set out in our briefing to the Review.
