Communications Officer - Homes
Mia supports our homes team to bring media attention to the poor quality and lack of accessibility of England's homes, in particular many older people's homes.

Mia leads on our storyteller project for the homes team, ensuring that the voice of lived experience is heard in our messaging, and placing real people at the heart of our communications. She supports on writing press releases, social media posts, and content for our website, as well as working on design projects for the Homes team.

Mia has previously worked in 2 different roles at Ageing Better. She has several freelance projects including a charity social event called Mind the Gap, which aims to connect people with new friends whilst raising money for children in Nepal who cannot afford school meals.
