Daniel
Oppenheimer
Trustee
Daniel is one of the Centre for Ageing Better's Trustees.
Having taken an MSc in economics, he spent the first half of his career as a civil servant at HM Treasury, and he retains a strong interest in economic and social policy issues.
Most recently, Daniel was Chief Operating Officer at the Royal British Legion, where he was responsible for a range of corporate services as well as finance and a £130m investment portfolio. Prior to that, he was first Chief Operating Officer at Nesta, the innovation charity; and then Director of Finance & Resources at Shelter, the housing charity. Both organisations were active in campaigning, policy, research and partnership work, so he greatly enjoys the opportunity to get involved in those areas of work again through Ageing Better.
