South:
In 2024 Southampton City Council secured funding to enable them to pilot the country’s first Adults Employment Hub. The dedicated Employment Support Team works with a network of local support services, offering a bespoke service for local jobseekers aged over 50.
North-east:
Instigated by Triage Impact (Middlesbrough), in collaboration with the Centre for Ageing Better, and delivered in partnership with AKG Health, Steps to Your Goal was a dedicated service for people over 50. This pilot project offered 12 weeks of holistic support focusing on individual experiences, preferences and aspirations.
