Fiona
Johnson
She now works freelance on projects within health, social care and education. Recent and current clients include the Nuffield Foundation, Institute for Fiscal Studies, Nuffield Trust, Rand Europe and the Royal College of Podiatry. Fiona is a Trustee of the newly merged charity What Works for Early Intervention and Children’s Social Care and is a non-executive director of the Evidence Quarter, a CIC which works to help evidence based organisations share resources and extend their impact. Her motivation for joining the Board of the Centre for Ageing Better is simple – to bring her experience and expertise across the communications mix to supporting action to improve opportunities for older people; to help combat discrimination and ageist thinking; and to support the delivery of imaginative programmes and interventions that will improve the lives of older people and secure a more just society.
