Iryna is part of the Work Action Area team focusing on projects and influencing, designed to improve access to work for people in their 50s and 60s. She works alongside colleagues to identify routes to change and support the engagement and influencing of commissioners and providers of employment and training support. She is involved with the development of projects both in Greater Manchester and the West Midlands. Iryna’s previous career was in dance with a specific focus on education and outreach programmes. She brings with her considerable experience from her management roles within the arts sector and higher education.
She worked extensively with several national dance companies developing and implementing creative arts projects designed to engage people who would otherwise not have access to the arts. Iryna joined the Centre for Ageing Better in November 2022.
