We welcome Matt Baumann as Senior Evaluation Manager

Matt Baumann joins Ageing Better, leading its approach to evaluation, driving the centre’s robust analysis of its projects and programmes.

Matt is a research and evaluation specialist with 20 years experience. He will be responsible for the Centre for Ageing Better’s approach to evaluation, creating measureable and lasting change to help everybody enjoy a good later life.

With previous roles as both evaluation commissioner and practitioner, Matt has substantive experience working across issues including energy and climate change, health and social care, and housing. Most recently he worked in the central evaluation team at the Department of Energy and Climate Change, where over the past four years he has helped to shape the direction of evaluation and built expertise across the department’s analytical services.

The Centre for Ageing Better is pioneering ways to make ageing better a reality for everyone, including challenging ageism and building an Age-friendly Movement, creating Age-friendly Employment and Age-friendly Homes. It is a charitable foundation funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and part of the government’s What Works Network.
