Elena supports the Work team to advocate for change in policy and practice that helps create a society where people in their 50s and 60s have equitable access to work if they want or need to.
Elena contributes to the Work Action Area through a range of activities, including the development and coordination of policy positions and influencing plans. She monitors and responds to changes in the external policy landscape and supports Ageing Better’s engagement with key stakeholders.
Elena joined Ageing Better in September 2023 after completing a Master's degree in International Social and Public Policy at LSE. Prior to this, she studied Politics and Anthropology at the University of Cambridge while working part-time in the charity sector, focusing on employment support and access to higher education.
