Head of Ageism Campaign (Job Share, Maternity Cover)
Harriet is joint-Head of Ageing Better’s anti-ageism campaign, Age Without Limits.

Jointly with her job share partner Katherine Crawshaw, Harriet heads up the team developing and overseeing our anti-ageism campaign, Age Without Limits. The campaign aims to raise awareness and understanding of ageism, and change attitudes towards ageing and older people. It consists of a national advertising campaign, action day, and PR, social media and ongoing commentary throughout the year. Harriet and Katherine oversee the strategic and creative development of the campaign, ensuring it is informed both by how our audiences are responding to the issue, and by those with lived experience.

Harriet has spent her career developing campaigns with real-world impact, both in-house and in creative agencies, including working with corporates on social impact projects around sustainability and DE&I. For the past five years before joining Ageing Better, Harriet ran the arm of a creative agency that focused on work with charities and nonprofits, working with clients such as The Social Mobility Foundation, Friends of the Earth and Stonewall on campaigns and research projects, as well as helping new charities develop their brands from scratch, and delivering behaviour change with the UK’s biggest water-saving campaign.
