We explored the key themes from our flagship report, The State of Ageing 2022, a comprehensive review of the most recent national data on ageing.
Date and Time:
Today, in England there are almost 11 million people aged 65 and over – 19% of the total population. In 10 years’ time more than 13 million people - some 22% of the population - will be aged 65 and over.
It is widely known that people’s experiences of growing older vary, but our State of Ageing report makes clear that a financially secure and healthy later life is becoming increasingly unlikely for millions of people. And, with the population ageing rapidly, the number of people at risk is growing at an alarming rate.
Join our panel of experts to explore key trends across people’s experiences of ageing and consider what needs to be done to make England a better place to grow old in.
