These engaging and accessible illustrated infographics summarise our most up-to-date stats from our State of Ageing 2023-4 report.
We’ve updated our set of free, downloadable infographics that summarise the key themes of our State of Ageing 2023-4 report. The State of Ageing is the most detailed, varied and up-to-date report about ageing in England of it's kind. This year across seven chapters we discuss the data on our older population, highlight stark inequalities and address the urgent need for action.
These infographics are arranged in similar themes: financial security, demographic changes and trends of our ageing population, older people's experience in work, ageing and health, the quality of England's homes and older people's contributions to society. All the statistics referenced in these infographics can be found in The State of Ageing 2023/24.
The release of these cards also complements our existing suite of free and publicly available resources: age-positive icons and image library.
How can these infographics be used?
We welcome other organisations, researchers, and individuals using these infographics on social media or in workshops to run an ‘evidence safari’, a collaborative and interactive way of exploring research and insight rapidly.
We’ve also produced these cards to support those interested in understanding how they can approach the opportunity of an ageing population in new and collaborative ways. For example, they might be helpful for a board looking to develop a strategy that references ageing or a local authority looking to understand their priorities through an ageing lens.
If you would like to share with us your experience of using the resource, we’d love to hear from you.
